What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device containing very fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin.

This treatment is exceptionally effective for addressing a variety of concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scarring, and uneven skin texture or dullness. Through the process of neovascularization and neocollagenesis, there is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars and pore size.

A typical session takes between 60–90 minutes. While you may notice results after just one treatment, a course of 3–6 sessions is generally recommended for optimal outcomes. Following the procedure, you may experience mild redness and sensitivity similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides within 24-48 hours, revealing gradual improvement over the following weeks.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a sophisticated skin-rejuvenation treatment that uses medical-grade needles to stimulate the body's natural healing response. It promotes collagen production to restore skin health safely and effectively.

What skin concerns can Microneedling help with?

It is exceptional for addressing fine lines, surgical or acne scarring, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. It provides a comprehensive solution for skin brightening and structural improvement.

How many sessions will I need?

For transformative results, we generally recommend a course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. During your consultation, we will tailor a plan specific to your skin goals.

Does Microneedling hurt?

We prioritize your comfort. While you may feel a slight prickling sensation, most clients find the procedure very tolerable. Our precision technique ensures a calm, professional experience.

What is the downtime after treatment?

You may experience mild erythema (redness) similar to a gentle sunburn for 24-48 hours. Most clients return to their normal daily activities almost immediately.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid active skincare (retinols, acids) for 5 days prior. Ensure your skin is protected from direct sun exposure. Arrive with a clean face, and we'll take care of the rest.

What should I avoid after Microneedling?

Avoid intense exercise, saunas, and direct sun for 48 hours. Refrain from applying makeup or active skincare until the following day to allow the micro-channels to close naturally.

When will I see results?

A radiant 'glow' is often visible within days. However, dermal restructuring occurs over several weeks, with the most significant improvements in texture and scarring appearing after 3-6 months.

Is Microneedling suitable for all skin types?

Yes, microneedling is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types. Unlike some laser treatments, it carries a very low risk of hyperpigmentation, making it a versatile choice for clinical skin health.
